A catch-all feature that is activated for a given e-mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to addresses that do not actually exist. To put it differently, if you deactivate an email address and somebody still sends an email to it, or to any miswritten address under the exact same domain name, you will receive the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature implies that you will no longer miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be essential if you are running some company, for instance. Since you may start receiving junk email messages, you can combine the catch-all feature with anti-spam filters in order to receive only authentic messages in your inbox. Just one mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Website Hosting

In case you host a domain name on our cloud web hosting platform and you’ve got a website hosting account, you will be able to enable the catch-all functionality for any email mailbox that you create under the domain name. The Email Manager section of the Hepsia Control Panel comes with quite a lot of functions, but it is exceptionally easy to use, so creating a catch-all mailbox takes just a click of the mouse. All the email addresses that you have will be shown in this section alphabetically and you will just have to click on the "Catch-all" button associated with the respective email address. Our system will notify you if there’s already another catch-all mailbox activated for that domain name or if the one that you want to be a catch-all mailbox has email forwarding activated, so you can either turn off the latter feature or select some other mailbox. Disabling the catch-all feature is just as simple and requires yet another click on the same button.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The catch-all functionality can be enabled with ease if you have a semi-dedicated server plan with our company. All the email addresses that you’ve created with the domains hosted in the semi-dedicated account will be displayed in the Hepsia hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section and you will notice a tiny icon handily situated right next to each one. With only a single click of the mouse, you can enable or disable the catch-all option for any mailbox of your preference on the condition that there isn't another mailbox under that same domain with this option already activated and there isn't active email forwarding. Alternatively, you can right-click on an email address and activate the feature through the context menu that will come into sight. If any of the conditions for configuring a catch-all mailbox is not answered, our system will notify you, but will not replace or deactivate anything automatically.
